Featured Races of the Night

Race 4 – Peter Galassi leg 1 elimination. For pacers, fillies and mares, non-winners of $10,000 lifetime.  Favored Lakeside Ms Queen and driver Dale Hiteman controlled the pace through fractions of :30.1, 1:00.2, and 1:30.0 before drawing away in the lane to win by open lengths in 1:57.1. Rear View was second, followed by IYQ BNU.  Lakeside Ms Queen is owned by Jace Sundeen and Denise Jarka and trained by Jace Sundeen.


Race 7 – Phil Georgeff leg 1 elimination. For three-year-old colts and geldings, non-winners of $10,000 lifetime.  Early in the race, driver Mike Oosting moved Heartland Revenue to the front and backed down the pace through fractions of :29.4, :59.0, and 1:28.0.  In the stretch, both Getting Rowdy and favored Mr McDreamy tipped wide to challenge, but were unable to get to Heartland Revenue.  Heartland Revenue won for trainer Tom Simmons in 1:55.2.  Getting Rowdy finished second while Mr McDreamy was third.  Heartland Revenue is owned by Glen Bauman.
