Froggie Tuesday -- Better Than a Wash!

FROG DOOLEY

The track played fairly even on Tuesday night as a variety of driving strategies resulted in trips to the winner’s circle. For the first time in several days, the track contained no moisture which enabled a layer of cushion to be placed on the base. Of note was that driver Todd Warren recorded a driving triple, most notably with 15-1 shot Meeko Mania in the 10th. Unfortunately, the Frog actually played a three horse win parlay on Todd Warren horses, connecting on two of them, but Meeko Mania was not part of the parlay play.

The Frog came out on top on Tuesday as we connected on two of plays. We began the night hitting a $10 Daily Double with Tattle Tail in the 1st and Sherrie’s Delight in the 2nd that added $129 to our bankroll. Honor The Cash was right in contention when he made a break in the 6th race. Rising Debt was a $20 and $20 winner for us adding $86 to the bill fold. In the 10th, our exacta horses finished 2-3. For the evening we wagered $160, and received a return of $215.

Original Bankroll: $2,000

Total Wagered: $1,430

Total Return: $1,381.80

Current Bankroll: $1,951.80  (thru Tuesday, 5/16)

For Wednesday, May 17, 2006
Race One:   Tomato is undefeated in 2006 and this filly will be difficult to stop. Fox Valley Shimmy is getting better in every start and she appears to be the only legitimate contender. We’ll box these two in an exacta and use them in some other plays.

$20 Exacta Box – Fox Valley Shimmy (2) and Tomato (7).

$2 Pick Three – Fox Valley Shimmy (2) and Tomato (7) in the 1st, with Party At Joyces (1), Spectacular

Cam (4) and Bess Dress (7) in the 2nd, with Giza (1) and Barkley And Jake (4) in the 3rd.

$20 Win Parlay – Tomato (7) in the 1st, back on Giza (1) in the 3rd, back on Go Go Gabby ((3) in the 5th.

Total Wager:  $84

Race Three:  Giza got trapped last week when the trainer took over the reins and she flew when clear. With Dave Magee in the bike, she should greet the judges. Let’s play her straight up again.

$20 Win & $20 Place on Giza (1).

Total Wager:  $40

Race Five:  Go Go Gabby came out ready in her first start of the year and she appears to be too classy for this bunch. We’ll play her straight up.

$20 Win & $20 Place on Go Go Gabby (3).

Total Wager:  $40

Race Nine:   Well, tonight, all of our initial plays have been on trotters. That could be a scary thought. Hereshecomesagain absolutely dominated in her last two efforts and we have to strink along for  another. It’s a straight play.

$20 Win & $20 Place on Hereshecomesagain (5).

Total Wager:  $40

TOTAL WAGERED: $204
