FREE HANDICAPPING CLASSES
Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced
M. Scott McMannis, handicapping in the Chicago Sun-Times, beat all other Chicago newspaper handicappers for the
Arlington, 2004 & 2005 meets. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced handicapper, Scott can teach you how to pick
more winners and avoid more losers. The 8-week series of Saturday morning classes begins with the basics and by the end of the
series you will be out-handicapping your competition.
| BEGINNER: | How to read the past performances (PP’s). |
| INTERMEDIATE: | Handicapping using the information in the PP’s exclusively.
What information in the PP’s is useful for handicapping, what isn’t (most of it!).
How to interpret the useful information and put it all together. |
| ADVANCED: | Supplementing the information in the PP’s to gain a competitive edge:
Using accurate speed figures, track-specific trainer patterns, comprehensive trouble notes, track bias,
horse body language, and more puts you well ahead of your competition. |
The classes are free but you must sign up with Scott. Sign up early—seating is limited. See Scott in
our Handicapping & Business Center, third floor grandstand, any race day.
